The Italian restaurant, The BiBo Pizzeria con Cucina, has offically opened its second location in Vancouver at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Malls by the Vancouver International Airport. Following the success of its first location in Kitsilano, owners Andrea and Michela Bini sought to expand their passion for authentic Italian pizza and wine to Richmond as well.
Their pizza crusts are hand-stretched and baked in a wood-fired oven, and topped with Italian imports, including olive oil from Tuscany and Campania, Porcini mushrooms from Piedmont, and olives and artichokes from Salerno.
Mastro Pizzaiolo Marco Di Stefano was truly a master of his art of pizza tossing – it was mesmerizing to watch him spin, throw, and flip the dough into pizzas right in front of our eyes.
Even the littlest one of the BiBo family wanted in on the fun of making pizza!
The BiBo seeks for the most authentic Italian experience in Neapolitan pizzas, of which baking in a wood-burning oven is imperative!
Such beautiful, well-balanced flavours of the pizzas, with a soft, foldable charred crust. I love that I am able to see the pizza-making process from start to finish through their open kitchen concept, and be able to taste the end product as it’s still piping hot. Yum!
In celebration of their grand opening, take advantage of their current promo of a special pizza and beer for $18 every Monday, as well as discounts on all bottles of Italian wine every Tuesday and Wednesday.
